At first glance, this visual puzzle appears to show nothing more than a single chicken. But look closely, and you may discover that the drawing contains two additional animals cleverly hidden within its lines, shadows, and shapes.
The chicken is the easiest figure to recognize, standing prominently in the center of the image. However, another animal is blended into the contours around the chicken’s neck and chest. Its shape is subtle enough that many people may overlook it during their first few attempts.
The real challenge is finding the third animal. Instead of concentrating only on the chicken’s outline, examine the curves, darker areas, and spaces surrounding the main figure. Changing your perspective or slightly tilting the image may also help reveal a shape that initially seems invisible.
Puzzles like this work because our brains are designed to quickly identify familiar objects. Once we recognize the chicken, we naturally focus on that image and may ignore smaller patterns hidden within it. This makes the other animals surprisingly difficult to notice, even though they are right in front of us.
So, how many did you find without checking the answer? The hidden animals are a rabbit and a snake, in addition to the chicken. If you spotted all three quickly, you have an impressive eye for details!
