– 4 chicken thighs
– 2 cups buttermilk
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 tablespoon paprika
– 1 tablespoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– Salt and black pepper to taste
– Vegetable oil for frying

_____Directions:_____
1. In a large bowl, marinate the chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.
2. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
3. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and dredge each piece in the flour mixture until well coated.
4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
5. Fry the chicken in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pot, for about 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked.
6. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil before serving.
