Although Donald and Melania have obviously been a power couple for decades, that doesn\u2019t mean they always get along. In her memoir, Melania Trump even revealed she passionately defends abortion rights, something that her husband doesn\u2019t agree with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The First Lady wants to show the world that she is an individual and not just Donald Trump\u2019s wife, and in an interview with Fox<\/a>, Melania explained how she gives her own advice to her husband, but that he doesn\u2019t always listen,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMaybe some people see me as just a wife of the President, but I\u2019m standing on my own two feet, independent, I have my own thoughts, I have my own \u2018yes\u2019 and \u2018no,’\u201d Melania said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t always agree [with] what my husband is saying or doing, and that\u2019s ok. I give him my advice, and sometimes he listens, sometimes he doesn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That Donald and Melania don\u2019t always agree with each other is nothing noteworthy, as the same goes for every married couple in the world. The presidential pair are still going strong after 20 years of marriage, and in early February, Melania\u2019s official photographer, R\u00e9gine Mahaux, decided to reveal new details about the First Lady\u2019s life today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere is something in her\u2013the strong woman \u2013, but at the same time, there is the soft power; she\u2019s really good at balancing her husband,\u201d Mahaux told Hello! Magazine<\/a>, admitting that he wondered how she has \u201cthe courage to keep going.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve gone through so much. She\u2019s committed. She loves him and he loves her,\u201d he continued. \u201cShe\u2019s always in the right place. She\u2019s always behind her husband. He\u2019s in the light; she doesn\u2019t need the light. She\u2019s a very good No. 2. It\u2019s always her husband first, and I like that; she has strong family values, to be a good wife and to make sure they\u2019re happy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Melania assumed the role of First Lady during her husband\u2019s first tenure at the White House while being a person many didn\u2019t believe had what it took. As of today, we all know that she prevailed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But this time, it will be different. Not only because of her experiences but also because of who she has become, according to Mahaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe\u2019s always been hands on, but she\u2019s more free nowadays to make a statement,\u201d the photographer continued. \u201cShe\u2019s a different person than she was eight years ago and has always been true to herself. This time, it feels like a different energy with new people that the President has surrounded himself with.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That the Trumps\u2019 second presidential term will be different is quite clear, but the most significant change for Melania will be the fact that she won\u2019t be staying in Washington full-time. The First Lady has always been clear that her son, Barron Trump<\/a>, is the most important person in her life, and even though she has the title of First Lady, Washington will have to play second fiddle as Barron is now studying at Stern Business School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though Melania has explained what she wants to accomplish during her second term as First Lady, a source tells People Magazine<\/a> that she won\u2019t let her mission at the White House dictate her life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe doesn\u2019t believe she has obligations in the political world. But she does care about children and their well being,\u201d a source in New York and Palm Beach told People. \u201cAnything she may do in this administration will happen if she has the time and interest to pursue it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The insider added that Melania\u2019s approach to her husband\u2019s world regarding navigating the spotlight is somewhere between his first wife, Ivana Trump, and his second wife, Marla Maples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMelania is smart like Ivana,\u201d the source continued, \u201cbut while Ivana collaborated with Donald on work projects, Melania is more traditional in the Marla way and remains more under the radar when possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The People Magazine source stated that politics \u201cisn\u2019t Melania Trump\u2019s world,\u201d and that she only has a \u201csmall circle of family members and one or two close friends.\u201d Moreover, Donald Trump is claimed to be \u201cconcerned\u201d about how his wife looks on the political stage. However, the source argued that Melania \u201ccouldn\u2019t care less how she looks politically.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou can learn more about Melania by what she doesn\u2019t do or say,\u201d the source concluded. \u201cJust because she is quiet in a crowd doesn\u2019t mean she is aloof, not listening, or necessarily disinterested. Her mind is filled with what she does every day, her own life, and what interests her. Donald does his thing, and she does hers. She tells it like it is when they talk and he listens. Does he do what she says? Not necessarily, but it has happened.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Melania was seen very few times before Donald Trump went into the last months of his presidential campaigning last year. She traveled with her husband to Los Angeles a few weeks ago and has been seen out on \u201cduty\u201d several times, but when it came to the biggest sporting event in the US, the Super Bowl, Melania was nowhere to be seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social media users launched theories about why Melania Trump wasn\u2019t attending the Super Bowl<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Donald became the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl. On Sunday, he arrived at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, with many family members, including his son, Eric Trump<\/a>, Eric\u2019s wife, Lara, his daughter Ivanka Trump<\/a>, and her 7-year-old son Theodore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the fact that Melania wasn\u2019t in attendance confused users on social media. Many took to the social media platform X and asked why she wouldn\u2019t accompany Trump at the enormous event. Some were even concerned, while others saw it as a chance to make fun of her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHmm! Where\u2019s Melania? Has she even moved into the WH, or is she busy filing for divorce?\u201d one user wrote, as per the Irish Star<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another said, \u201cMelania is at home? I can\u2019t say I blame her, tbh.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNeither Melania nor Barron are accompanying Trump to the Superbowl. What a \u2018family man!\u2019 Melania is NOT living at the WH or Mar a Lago,\u201d a third stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exactly why Melania Trump\u2014or Barron, for that matter\u2014didn\u2019t accompany Donald to the Super Bowl isn\u2019t known. However, before the game, Donald released a statement saying that his wife \u201cjoins me in sending our best wishes for a great Super Bowl Sunday.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
