The 84-year-old Oscar winner told her Instagram followers that she began cancer treatments six months ago and is doing well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lajmesot.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Screenshot_222-300x239.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25613\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSo, my dear friends, I\u2019d want to share something personal with you.\u201d \u201cMy non-lymphoma Hodgkin\u2019s lymphoma diagnosis and chemotherapy treatments have begun,\u201d the Grace and Frankie star stated on Instagram. \u201cThis is a reasonably manageable illness,\u201d she explained, \u201cso I consider myself extremely fortunate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She went on to thank God for her \u201cblessed\u201d situation, saying she is privileged to have access to the best medical specialists and therapies. \u201cDue to my health, I have access to the best specialists and therapies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Non-lymphoma According to the Mayo Clinic, Hodgkin\u2019s disease is a type of cancer that begins in the lymphatic system, which is a component of the body\u2019s immune system that fights infection. In non-Hodgkin lymphoma, white blood cells called lymphocytes multiply abnormally and can form growths (tumors) throughout the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fonda\u2019s friends and other celebrities showed their love and support for her on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Debra Messing wrote, \u201cSending you healing energy, love, and strength.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alyssa Milano tweeted, \u201cWishing you more love and strength than you can take.\u201d \u201d Please contact me if you have any questions.\u201d Always available.
