Dan Bongino wasted no time making an impact in his new role as Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, reports said on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soon after being sworn in, Bongino honored fallen FBI agents by visiting the agency\u2019s Wall of Honor, a gesture that quickly earned widespread praise from his supporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FBI\u2019s official account shared the moment on social media, noting: \u201cAfter his swearing-in ceremony as FBI Deputy Director, Dan Bongino paid his respects at the Wall of Honor, honoring the brave members of the #FBI who made the ultimate sacrifice and reflecting on the legacy of those who paved the way in the pursuit of justice and security.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bongino, a former Secret Service agent and NYPD officer, was appointed to the position last month by President Donald Trump, signaling a significant shift in leadership within the bureau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump posted the announcement on his Truth Social account: \u201cGreat news for Law Enforcement and American Justice! Dan Bongino, a man of incredible love and passion for our Country, has just been named the next DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE FBI, by the man who will be the best ever Director, Kash Patel. Dan has a Masters Degree in Psychology from C.U.N.Y., and an MBA from Penn State. He was a member of the New York Police Department (New York\u2019s Finest!), a highly respected Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, and is now one of the most successful Podcasters in the Country, something he is willing and prepared to give up in order to serve. Working with our great new United States Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and Director Patel, Fairness, Justice, Law and Order will be brought back to America, and quickly. Congratulations Dan!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, Trump added: \u201cAnother aspect of the life of Dan Bongino that I think is very important. He has a great wife, Paula, and two wonderful daughters who truly love their dad. What an incredible job Dan will do!!!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On X, Bongino responded, simply writing, \u201cThank you Mr. President, Attorney General Bondi, and Director Patel.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the days before Trump\u2019s announcement \u2014 and likely when Bongino had already been approached about the FBI deputy directorship \u2014 the former Secret Service agent called out Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on his popular podcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhy is Adam Schiff so worried? I strongly encourage you to go back and take another look today at the Russia collusion hoax,\u201d Bongino began during a segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After noting that the story is now several years old, Bongino added: \u201cI\u2019m gonna be straight with you. I don\u2019t wanna move on.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe had the FBI in conjunction with the Department of Justice, officials in Congress, foreign governments and intel people fabricate a story, invent a story that could have caused and done serious long-term harm to international relations with a nuclear-powered foe,\u201d he added. \u201cIt\u2019s kind of a big freakin\u2019 deal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cListen to me \u2014 this is gonna be very important in the coming days,\u201d he went on, perhaps dropping a hint about his pending appointment to the FBI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m not letting this go. I wanna find out what happened because it can never happen again. Not to a Democrat. Not a Republican. Not to a Libertarian. Not to any United States citizen,\u201d Bongino said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhy do I bring that up now? Because who was the ringmaster of that circus? Yes, Adam Schiff, and no, I\u2019m not letting it go,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
