The mother and twin brother of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf speak out after he was tragically killed in a senseless stabbing at a track and field meet in Texas. Austin was attacked at Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco after telling 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony he was sitting in the wrong seat. WFAA<\/a> reported:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police said officers had responded around 10 a.m. to an altercation between two students. One of the students was stabbed by the other, according to police. Hunter Metcalf told WFAA that he was there when Austin was stabbed and tried to save his life by stopping the blood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI tried to whip around as fast as I could,\u201d Hunter said with tears in his eyes. \u201cI looked at my brother and I\u2019m not going to talk about the rest. I tried to help him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hunter said he held his brother until first responders started attempting resuscitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frisco police said CPR was performed on the victim, and blood was administered, but Metcalf later died.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c[Austin] did everything for our family,\u201d said Hunter. \u201cAs a linebacker, he was a stud, and I always tried to fill those shoes and play with him. I had a blast my whole life playing sports with him.\u201d<\/p>\n
