{"id":11819,"date":"2025-05-06T14:14:41","date_gmt":"2025-05-06T14:14:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kohajone.press\/?p=11819"},"modified":"2025-05-06T14:14:42","modified_gmt":"2025-05-06T14:14:42","slug":"ice-charges-scores-of-illegal-migrants-with-identity-theft","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kohajone.press\/?p=11819","title":{"rendered":"ICE Charges Scores Of Illegal Migrants With Identity Theft"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/conservativebrief.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/GettyImages-2205551315-1.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">&nbsp;Getty Images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>President Donald Trump and his border czar, Tom Homan, are continuing to crack down on illegal alien crime, and a recent mass arrest has shown how deep the problem really became under former President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEighteen criminal illegal aliens have been charged as the result of an immigration-related identity theft investigation following a multi-agency effort with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement,\u201d Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ice.gov\/news\/releases\/immigration-related-identity-theft-investigation-leads-charges-against-18-individuals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>&nbsp;in a press release on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEach individual has been charged with aggravated identity theft, misuse of Social Security numbers, and false statements regarding citizenship with the intent to engage unlawfully in employment. If convicted on all counts, each faces a minimum penalty of two years, up to 12 years, in federal prison,\u201d it said before listing the individuals who were apprehended:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Luvin Daniel Hernandez Amador, of Honduras, was indicted on Feb. 27, 2025;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Elvin Donahel Hernandez Amador, of Honduras, was indicted on Dec. 17, 2024;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Elmer Modesto Amador, of Honduras, was indicted on Oct. 1, 2024;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Junior Eduardo Ferrufino Andino, of Honduras, was indicted on Oct. 1, 2024;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Noe Ardon, of Honduras, was indicted on June 25, 2024;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Sindi Yamileth Mejia Avila, of Guatemala, was indicted on Dec. 17, 2024;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Cristian Daniel Diaz-Garcia, of Honduras, is scheduled for trial in April 2025;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Pedro Amaya Enriquez, of Honduras, was indicted on June 25, 2024;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Juan Resendiz Ledesma, of Mexico, was indicted on June 25, 2024;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Erlin Maradiaga-Flores, of Honduras, pleaded guilty to aggravated identity theft and sentenced on Oct. 17, 2024, to 2 years in federal prison;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Nidia Maradiaga-Flores, of Honduras, is scheduled for trial in April 2025;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Allan Gomez-Zelaya, of Honduras, pleaded guilty to aggravated identity theft on Jan. 30, 2024. Sentencing set for April 15, 2025;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Elieser Gomez-Zelaya, of Honduras, had a superseding indictment returned on Sept. 27, 2023;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Juan Molina-Salles, of Honduras, was indicted Sept. 6, 2023.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese cases were investigated by ICE Homeland Security Investigations Tampa, the Department of Transportation \u2013 Office of Inspector General, the Social Security Administration \u2013 Office of the Inspector General, the United States Border Patrol, the Department of Labor \u2013 Office of Inspector General, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and the Pinellas County Sheriff\u2019s Office. The cases are being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Karyna Valdes and Christopher F. Murray, and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph Wheeler, III,\u201d the press release continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Homan\u00a0issued a stark warning\u00a0to criminal aliens in February, vowing that they would all be arrested and reaffirming his promise to immigrant terror groups to \u201cwipe you off the face of the earth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also issued a warning to blue cities that are sheltering illegals by refusing to cooperate with federal immigration authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Homan, a former acting director of ICE during Trump\u2019s first administration, told an engaged audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in February that the number of illegal immigrant \u201cgotaways\u201d had, by then, dropped by 95%, Fox News\u00a0reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe had about 1,800 a day in 2023. You know how many we had yesterday? Forty-eight,\u201d he said. \u201cYou\u2019re talking about 2,000 miles of border, and only 48 people escaped. But that\u2019s 48 too many. I\u2019m not going to be happy till that number\u2019s zero.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Homan also announced that in Trump\u2019s first month in the Oval Office, ICE arrested 21,000 illegal aliens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m happy with the numbers, but I\u2019m not going to be satisfied until every criminal alien gang member, every criminal alien, every Tren de Aragua is eradicated from this country and [we\u2019ve] sent their ass to Gitmo, where they belong,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing criminal migrant groups such as Venezuela\u2019s Tren de Aragua and El Salvador\u2019s MS-13\u2014both recently designated as \u201cforeign terrorist organizations\u201d by the Trump administration\u2014Homan declared that the administration is delivering on its promise to eliminate them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s going to wipe you off the face of the earth,\u201d he said. \u201cYou have killed more Americans than every terrorist organization in the world combined. You are now a terrorist organization.
