Barron Trump has always had a close bond with his family. The youngest son of Donald Trump has lived a very unique life so far, and while it\u2019s been one of outrageous wealth and luxury, it\u2019s also significantly impacted his social life.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These days, Barron is a student at NYU, and perhaps that means a whole new world is opening up to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\u2019s been close to his parents \u2013\u00a0Melania, in particular \u2013 and he\u2019s also enjoyed a great relationship with his grandparents, Amalija and Viktor Knavs. Sadly, he lost his grandmother last year, but Viktor is still alive. A new report paints a picture of how close Barron and his grandfather are \u2013 and it certainly makes for emotional reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barron Trump\u2019s\u00a0life has been markedly different from the norm. He grew up in a world of luxury inside Trump Tower, where he was said to have had an entire floor to himself, even as a young child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As he grew older, he found himself in the White House while his father was the President of the Untied States. That meant less freedom for the now-19-year-old, as Secret Service tailed him everywhere. That\u2019s something that continues to this day, and will do so for many years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Barron\u2019s never had any issues regarding money or getting whatever he wanted, the social side of his life has taken an understandable hit. It\u2019s said that growing up in a relatively \u201cclosed\u201d environment affected him a lot. A source told People Magazine<\/a> that the 19-year-old is \u201can old soul who is smart, well-spoken and well-read.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe has lived through experiences others his age haven\u2019t,\u201d the source said, adding that the European influence from his mother and maternal grandparents has played a big part in his upbringing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barron Trump \u2013 strong relationship with his grandparents<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe is well-grounded, he has seen a lot and he knows who he is,\u201d the source added, while a Palm Beach source told People Magazine that Barron \u201chas more characteristics of a European than an American.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe isn\u2019t as aggressive as many of his age when they are in their own social circles. He is someone who listens before talking, and is super polite,\u201d the source explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While not much is known about Barron Trump\u2019s friend, the relationships he shares with his family is a different story. His mother, Melania, always put him first, while it\u2019s also reported that her parents, Amalija and Viktor \u2013 Barron\u2019s grandparents \u2013 played a very important role in his life as he was growing up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Melania\u2019s Slovenian heritage has always been present in Barron\u2019s life. Sadly, the boy lost his grandmother, Amalija, in January 2024 \u2013 the entire Trump family attended the funeral to say their last goodbyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last September, during a sit-down with Fox News<\/a>, Melania discussed her mother\u2019s death, revealing that Amailja and Barron had a very close relationship. She said her mother moved to the United States to be close to Barron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHer life was incredible in Slovenia,\u201d Melania said. \u201cOnce Barron was born, he was her focus. It\u2019s almost like she was a second mother, especially because of my schedule in the White House and being so busy. They had an incredible bond. Her and Barron, it was a relationship like no other,\u201d Melania concluded during the segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barron Trump spoke with a Slovenian accent as a child<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Because of her Slovenian descent, Melania raised Barron to be bilingual, and when he called his grandparents in Slovenia, he spoke Slovenian. Both she and Donald<\/a> agree that the more languages one speaks, the better, and at one point, Melania revealed that he spoke three languages. His father told Larry King that he \u2018loved\u2019 Barron speaking with a Slovenian accent, and on a few occasions, the world even got to hear him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entertainment Tonight shared a video<\/a> of Barron speaking with his mother in 2009 when he was about to turn three. Barron was heard saying, \u201cI like to play drums,\u201d his mother added, \u201cHe loves to play drums, so maybe for his birthday, you will get the present?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another clip of a young Barron speaking with an accent resurfaced from the 2010 Larry King interview, in which his parents appeared. The young boy appeared in his father\u2019s office and said, \u201cI like my suitcase.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When his father won the election in November last year, Barron appeared on stage beside him. In a clip where he and his father met UFC President Dana White, fans heard him speak for the first time in years, with listeners getting quite the shock as his Slovenian accent had completely disappeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHello. How are you? Very nice to meet you,\u201d Barron said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, how much were Amalija and Viktor Knavs involved in Barron Trump\u2019s childhood and upbringing? They made their first trip to the USA in 2004, when their daughter was working as a model. The First Lady became an American citizen in 2006, and 12 years later, in 2018, Melania used the \u201cchain migration\u201d immigrant process to ensure her parents also became US citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amalija and Viktor Knavs were \u201cinstrumental\u201d in Barron\u2019s upbringing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Amilja and Viktor have been close to Barron almost his entire life. During Trump\u2019s first presidential term, they lived part-time at the White House and also spent time at Mar-a-Lago and Trump Tower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2015, the Daily Mail reported that Amalija loved to cook homemade Slovenian food for Barron and often told him stories about their family\u2019s home country. Still, while Melania has been a public figure for decades, Viktor and Amalija decided to stay outside the spotlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two were seen a few times at White House events and the Republican National Convention, but they always put their grandson first. As per People Magazine<\/a>, a source said in January that the grandparents were \u201cinstrumental\u201d in his \u201crearing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking with CBS, a source said Amalija and Viktor adored their grandson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBoth her parents spend a huge amount of time in the White House, living there,\u201d the source said. \u201cThere\u2019s a unit within the family unit, and it\u2019s Melania, her mother, her father, and Barron. And they all speak Slovenian. And it\u2019s kind of interesting: the Secret Service has no idea what they\u2019re saying.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly, Barron and his family lost Amlija in January 2024. Melania shared the sad news on her social media accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved mother, Amalija,\u201d she wrote on Facebook<\/a>. \u201cAmalija Knavs was a strong woman who always carried herself with grace, warmth, and dignity. She was entirely devoted to her husband, daughters, grandson, and son-in-law. We will miss her beyond measure and continue to honor and love her legacy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barron Trump \u2018extremely close\u2019 with his grandfather<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Barron has never conducted a real interview, and the question is, even though he is 19, would Melania allow it? We don\u2019t know his exact feelings about losing his grandmother, but anyone who has ever lost a family member knows how devastating it can be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Viktor Knavs lost his beloved wife of many years, but he and Barron continue to share a strong bond. According to the Daily Mail, an insider has revealed that Barron and his grandfather share an \u201cextremely close\u201d relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cViktor is extremely close to his grandson, Barron, and you often see them walking around Mar-a-Lago together \u2013 or at least you did before Barron went off to New York University,\u201d a source who has known the Trumps for years told the Daily Mail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the passing of his wife, Viktor has continued to stay out of the public eye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe keeps himself very much to himself. Melania spends most of her time in her private quarters, and that\u2019s where Viktor and Ines tend to be,\u201d the source added. \u201cThey are private people, very proud of Melania and devoted to her.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Does Barron Trump have a girlfriend?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Not much is known about Barron\u2019s friends and social life; the same goes for a possible girlfriend. Whether Barron has ever had a girlfriend isn\u2019t public knowledge, and his father doesn\u2019t seem to know anything. During an appearance on the PBD Podcast<\/em>, Trump stated that Barron has never had a girlfriend. He also said that his son is a social guy who \u201cdoesn\u2019t mind being alone, but he gets along with people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m not sure he\u2019s there yet,\u201d Donald responded to the question about Barron possibly having had a girlfriend. \u201cI don\u2019t think he\u2019s had a girlfriend yet.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, model Klara Jones, two years older than Barron, was said to be dating him. According to Elle<\/a>, the two have been seen together at events in recent months, fueling dating rumors further. However, nothing has been confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gossip surrounding celebrity relationships has always been a big deal, and for Barron, it is no different. The Daily Mail pointed out that the 21-year-old influencer Maria Arana, a Mexican-American NYU student who grew up in Miami, could be a \u201cfuture Mrs Barron Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Barron never does interviews or comments on his life, it\u2019s tricky to know what is true. However, Maria Arana decided to set the record straight. Speaking with\u00a0Vanity Fair, Arana, studying child psychology at NYU\u2019s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, said: \u201cI just thought it was very random. But it\u2019s not like I was against it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
