According to reports,&nbsp;they died together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with a number of other unaccounted-for campers following the flood, Bonner and Peck were two of three Dallas&nbsp;girls who vanished&nbsp;from Camp Mystic, drawing attention from the public and rescue operations. In addition to stating that&nbsp;<strong>\u201cshe lost her life in the tragic flooding,\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;Peck\u2019s family requested solitude to grieve for their daughter the following day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Facebook, Alive11 Reporter Kaitlyn Ross shared a statement from Peck\u2019s mother.&nbsp;<strong>\u201cEloise was literally friends with everyone,\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;she reportedly&nbsp;said.&nbsp;<strong>\u201cShe loved spaghetti, but not more than she loved dogs and animals.\u201d&nbsp;<\/strong>She continued:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cShe had a family who loved her fiercely for the 8 years we were blessed to have her. Especially her Mommy.\u201d<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ross disclosed that Eloise\u2019s death was verified by her relatives.&nbsp;<strong>\u201cShe passed away alongside her best friend and cabinmate, Lila Bonner, who also lost her life,\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;Ross wrote, before adding:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cThis photo shows Eloise and Lila together: happy, thriving, and surrounded by summer camp joy. Rest in peace, sweet girls. You will never be forgotten.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an effort to raise awareness of the missing youngsters from Camp Mystic, OKCM Search and Rescue posted a message on Facebook on July 4, the day of the floods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cSharing for our friends &amp; neighbors to the south. Please keep praying. Search operations continue.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The horrific experience has had a significant impact on numerous local communities. Still missing in the Texas floods.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cVery close to home. Praying Eloise is found so she and Hunter can have more play dates. Praying each little girl is found,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0she\u00a0added. Less than a day later, Peck was confirmed dead by her family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of Sunday, July 6, 2025, over 50 individuals have died in the floods.
