President Donald Trump is once again shutting down bizarre conspiracy theories \u2014 this time over claims that he\u2019s either in failing health or, in some corners of the internet, no longer alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The speculation exploded after Trump returned to the Oval Office last September 2, following several days away from the public eye. Photos snapped by paparazzi quickly circulated online, sparking intense debate about his appearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One close-up image of the president\u2019s face drew immediate reactions on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. \u201cMaybe it\u2019s just me, but that doesn\u2019t look like Trump at all,\u201d one user commented. Another user joked: \u201cLol that\u2019s not Trump, that\u2019s his stunt double.\u201d A third post simply read: \u201cOkay maybe he is dying.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This isn\u2019t the first time social media has run wild with claims of a \u201cTrump body double.\u201d Back in June, photos from a NATO summit in the Netherlands triggered similar chatter after Trump appeared slightly shorter than expected while standing next to world leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cObviously not the real one. Not tall enough,\u201d one skeptic posted at the time. Others joked that Trump was in \u201cmultiple places at once,\u201d while another remarked: \u201cThat\u2026 that is not Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the reality is likely far less sensational. Official White House health disclosures list Trump at 6\u20193\u201d and 224 pounds. In the widely discussed photo, he\u2019s seen standing near King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands (6\u20192\u201d) and Turkey\u2019s President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan (just over 6 feet). With both men close in height, experts say camera angles, footwear differences, and posture can easily alter appearances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump shut down the speculation in trademark style, sharing a no-nonsense post on Truth Social:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His comment came in response to a supporter who blasted what they called a double standard in media coverage, noting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBiden disappears for days and the press calls him \u2018sharp.\u2019 Trump steps back for 24 hours and it\u2019s a meltdown.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vice President JD Vance stirred the conversation further when he weighed in on Trump\u2019s health during an interview with USA Today. While Vance said he\u2019d be prepared for \u201canything catastrophic,\u201d he also pushed back hard against the rumors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe president is in incredibly good health. He\u2019s got tremendous energy,\u201d Vance said. \u201cHe\u2019s the last one to go to bed, the first one to wake up, and he\u2019s making calls before anyone else.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the online frenzy, Trump\u2019s message is clear: he\u2019s here, he\u2019s healthy, and he\u2019s not going anywhere.<\/p>\n
