\nAccording to a report from In Touch, the network\u2019s new CEO, Mark Thompson, is reportedly planning on massive cuts in an effort to reign in CNN\u2019s budget and boost ratings. A number of the network\u2019s highest paid on-air taIents could soon be out due to the budget cuts, In Touch reported.<\/p>\n

Other names mentioned were Wolf Blitzer, who makes $15 million a year, while Jake Tapper currently makes $8 million. Both personalities are under contract through the 2024 eIection, though changes are on the table after that.<\/p>\n
