Meanwhile, a Missouri Walmart is going one step further.<br \/>\nThis past weekend a Walmart near St. Louis, Missouri removed all of their self-checkout lanes.<\/p>\n<p>According to local reports, staffed checkout lanes will replace the self-checkout lanes.<\/p>\n<p>The change is expected to \u201cimprove the store experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe decision was based on several factors, including feedback from associates and customers, shopping patterns and business needs in this area,\u201d Brian Little, the Global Communications Director for Walmart Corporate Affairs, said. \u201cWe believe the change will improve the in-store shopping experience and give our associates the chance to provide more personalized and efficient service.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Would you like to see this change at your local Walmart?
