A mum has spoken out about her \u2018controversial\u2019 parenting choice, having admitted she plans to never leave her daughter alone with a male \u2013 including close family members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
TikToker Aubz posted a video on the platform recently to explain some of the boundaries she was setting for her daughter as a \u2018young first-time mom\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She wrote: \u201cControversial ways I\u2019m raising my daughter\u2026 call me crazy IDC.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The clip saw the mother speaking to the camera as she reeled off a list of specific things she did or did not want her daughter to do \u2013 including everything from not being forced to finish her food and not being made to kiss or hug relatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo sleepovers, nope, not even with family members,\u201d she said.\u201cShe will never be left alone with a male. I don\u2019t care if you\u2019re the grandpa, the uncle or the cousin.\u201cI won\u2019t treat my daughter differently than I treat my son. For instance, like me letting my son go out late, but not my daughter \u2013 because it\u2019s too dangerous for a woman. I\u2019m just gonna treat them both the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSecrets will not be kept from your parents, and if you\u2019re one of those people now, saying \u2018I\u2019ll give you candy when your mom\u2019s not here, just don\u2019t tell her\u2019, that\u2019s the quickest way to never see us again.\u201cShe doesn\u2019t have to kiss you, hug you, sit on your lap or anything else just because you asked her to, and because you\u2019re a relative and haven\u2019t seen her in a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShe doesn\u2019t have to respect you if you don\u2019t also respect her.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aubz said that, as a child, her daughter will have \u2018opinions and emotions\u2019 and is \u2018allowed to feel a certain way\u2019, and would will be allowed to take \u2018mental health days when needed\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019re not going to do a public school system that makes you sit at a desk for eight hours and not learn anything you really care about,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe will always use holistic methods before we resort to western medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m teaching her to stand up for herself, set boundaries and say no.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m not going to force her to share or force her to finish her plate of food.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The mum also said she would never talk \u2018poorly\u2019 about herself in front of her daughter, nor would she make comments about her appearance of body image.<\/p>\n
