Ben Affleck<\/a> and Jennifer Lopez<\/a> are <\/em>putting their fairytale Beverly Hills mansion on the market, but it might not be the final nail in the coffin with regards to their divorce.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We reported yesterday that the A-list couple<\/a> had placed their $61 million property up for sale only a year after having purchased it \u2013 that claim initially came from TMZ<\/a> \u2013 and it should come as no surprise that it\u2019s since been widely assumed that the reason was because \u2018Bennifer\u2019 are splitting up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There have been all manner of reports in recent weeks concerning the harmony \u2013 or lack thereof \u2013 between Affleck and Lopez, and it\u2019s been difficult to draw any conclusion, using the evidence at hand, that suggests the pair are committed to one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Affleck, if we\u2019re to believe reports, has been living in a rental property for a while now, having moved out of the mansion he shares with J-Lo. Lopez, meanwhile, last week sensationally canceled<\/a> her planned This is Me Now\u2026 Live <\/em>tour of North America, stating that she wanted to spend time with her family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Needless to say, the situation is far from sunshine and roses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And yet the potential sale of their home \u2013 TMZ say they\u2019ll take a loss on the <\/a>property after broker\u2019s fees and their own investments for renovations are factored in \u2013 might not be the death knell regarding to their marriage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PEOPLE Magazine today<\/a> cite a source as having detailed how neither Affleck nor Lopez have been happy with the house, and both have reasons that don\u2019t necessarily relate to their love for one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBen never liked the house. It\u2019s too far away from his kids,\u201d the source, said to be close to Lopez, offered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for Lopez, they claimed: \u201cthe house is way too big for her.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 38,000 square-foot home in question boasts a reported \u201c12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a 12-car garage and a pool, plus a sports complex with basketball and pickleball facilities, a gym and a boxing ring.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nothing to sneer at, I\u2019m sure you\u2019ll agree, but an idyllic mansion doesn\u2019t always equate to a happy marriage. With Affleck having moved out \u2013 reportedly while he films The Accountant 2 <\/em>\u2013 <\/em>and neither partner outright contradicting media reports claiming their marriage is on the slide, there\u2019s certainly adequate space for conjecture to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
