Once can assume that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle\u2019s life in the US hasn\u2019t been half as private as the lives they implied to the public that they wanted to live. Instead the Sussexes have \u2013 in no small part thanks to their Netflix and Spotify deals \u2013 had a very publicized existence since leaving the Royal Family. Suffice it to say that Harry\u2019s memoir, Spare<\/em>, didn\u2019t exactly help to quell interest.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Harry and Meghan\u2019s children will soon start kindergarten and preschool, the Sussexes are allegedly having problems. In the past it\u2019s been rumored that although they wanted to be a part of Hollywood celebrity society, many A-listers didn\u2019t want anything to do with them. Now, new reports suggest that Harry\u2019s friends don\u2019t want to visit him.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Duke hasn\u2019t journeyed home to the UK often of late. Harry and Meghan, you\u2019ll remember, were evicted from Frogmore Cottage by King Charles, and since then haven\u2019t had a \u201cbase\u201d in the prince\u2019s old home country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we\u2019re to believe reports though, a shock return could be on the table, with one royal expert suggesting that Harry is looking for a \u2018permanent\u2019 home in the UK\u2026 and for one sad reason.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harry and Meghan\u2019s move to the US involved a brand new life far away from everything that had anything to do with their previous royal duties. Leaving the Royal Family was a huge undertaking for the then family of three, but they managed it. Since then, Harry and Meghan have welcomed their daughter, Princess Lililbet, who turned three just some weeks ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the couple has expressed a desire for a more private life, their many accusations against the Royal Family, made clear in their infamous Oprah Winfrey interview, Netflix series, other interviews, and, foremost, Harry\u2019s tell-all memoir\u00a0Spare<\/em>, has made them staples on the front pages of newspapers worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The couple has also started several business ventures, and at the time of writing Meghan is said to be endeavoring to better develop her own brand. American Riviera Orchid<\/em>, the Duchess\u2019s lifestyle brand, was launched some months ago, however the reception it received initially was different from what she expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meghan\u2019s first product launched through American Riviera Orchid<\/em> was a new jam. Sadly, it was mocked, not only for tasting average, but also for its astronomical price tag. According to royal expert Tom Quinn, she was left in tears over the \u201cunfair criticism\u201d she received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe one fly in the ointment is Meghan\u2019s new internet brand, America Riviera Orchard. Meghan was in tears when the brand launched, and her new jam was widely mocked for being expensive and nothing special,\u201d he told the\u00a0Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe has reached the point now where she thinks that anything and everything she does will be unfairly criticized. Like her husband, she feels that people are unfairly picking on her \u2013 she cannot understand why people don\u2019t admire her work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The royal expert added: \u201cShe is especially sensitive about any criticism of her luxurious lifestyle in the US \u2013 from her point of view this is something to be admired not criticized.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harry and Meghan\u2019s current life in Montecito, California, looks markedly different from the one they left in the UK. Above all else, they aren\u2019t followed by paparazzi everywhere, and the mere fact that Meghan was able to give birth to daughter Lilibet in relative peace \u2013 compared to when Archie was born in the UK \u2013 was life-changing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As they settled into their new life, Harry was foremost seen at the Santa Barbara polo club, not far from their Montecito mansion, while Meghan spent more time in Los Angeles, about a 90-minute drive away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sussexes were both said to have wanted to make their way into Hollywood\u2019s celebrity society. But according to Hollywood insider, broadcaster, comedian, and actor Tim Dillon, that interest wasn\u2019t mutual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI know people in LA that know them, and all they want to do is hang out with celebrities. I was at a celebrity party the other night talking to somebody about this, and they go, \u2018These people are just\u2026 it\u2019s constant with them,’\u201d Dillon said on the \u201cThey Come and Go\u201d episode of his podcast,\u00a0The Tim Dillon Show,<\/em>\u00a0last summer, as per the\u00a0Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe was texting the person I was with there \u2013 and, \u2018no, you can\u2019t come\u2019. I shouldn\u2019t have even been there. But the point is they just won\u2019t stop, these two. They are just like moths to the flame trying to hang out\u2026 They\u2019re like low-grade reality stars that are trying to attach to anything.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was not the first time Dillon has criticized Harry and Meghan. Back in September 2021, the comedian tweeted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHarry and Meghan are such a gift to this country. Thank GOD for them. They make everything OK. Just because they\u2019re here. They\u2019re helping people by being on NETFLIX! This was such a happenstance thing, not at all a plan they had. I love when good things just happen. There IS hope!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dillon went into further detail regarding Meghan\u2019s text messages, claiming that friends of his showed text messages from the Duchess in which she begged people to \u201chang out.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe is trying to get places. It\u2019s sad. A lot of it isn\u2019t working, and they are rolling their eyes to me, and they\u2019re going LOL, and we are all having a good laugh about this because they\u2019re just a bunch of goons, and no one cares.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The broadcaster and comedian added: \u201cNow listen, at the end of the day, I respect the hustle, I get what she\u2019s trying to do, I get what they are trying to do, but it didn\u2019t work, right? A lot of people at this party were like, \u2018Hey man, you know, we text her back, we tried to be nice, she\u2019s the Duchess, but we\u2019ve had enough, we\u2019ve had enough of her.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meghan\u2019s podcast, launched via Spotify, was an unmitigated disaster, and ended up being canceled. A Spotify boss labeled her and her husband \u201cgrifters,\u201d but her career as a podcast host is not apparently over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No, the Duchess is set to launch a new podcast with Lemonada Media, but it has reportedly been pushed back to next year. An insider has told In Touch that Meghan is \u201cgreedy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe wants everything all at once, and it\u2019s backfiring on her again. She\u2019s become a total joke and is overplaying her hand,\u201d the insider stated, as per NY Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat clearly didn\u2019t go down well with Lemonada. They surely expected to be Meghan\u2019s priority project, but she must have decided she had bigger fish to fry with Netflix. Almost everything they\u2019ve tried has ended in disaster.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Prince Harry & Meghan Markle were evicted from Frogmore Cottage by King Charles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Another insider told In Touch that Meghan has lost all respect among Hollywood A-listers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHollywood is glam and glitz on the outside, but the real stars have worked hard for their success \u2014 and you get the impression hard work isn\u2019t really Meghan\u2019s thing,\u201d the source said. \u201cNow, after all her failures, those A-listers \u2014 and the royals \u2014 are laughing at her!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It appears that Harry and Meghan aren\u2019t the most popular people among the upper echelons of Hollywood, and it shouldn\u2019t be assumed that they are better liked by the UK family they left behind. The many allegations against leveled by Harry and Meghan at the Royal Family have left the likes of King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton furious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether the royals and the Sussexes will ever make amends is yet to be seen. However, after Harry\u2019s book Spare<\/em> was released, it was clear that at least King Charles would not let him bash the Royal Family without consequence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In March last year, just two months after Harry\u2019s book was released, the world heard the bombshell news that King Charles had evicted Harry and Meghan from their UK base at Frogmore Cottage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the couple moved into Frogmore, they renovated the royal estate to the tune of around $3 million. When they stepped down from their royal roles, Harry and Meghan agreed to pay back the entire price tag to UK taxpayers. They were still allowed to keep Frogmore Cottage as their UK base when visiting \u2013 but that has since changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to reports, Charles made his mind up about the future of the property just one day after Harry\u2019s book, Spare,<\/em> was released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harry \u201cwill never be allowed back to Frogmore,\u201d insider says<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan confirmed that they had been evicted from Frogmore Cottage. Meanwhile, reports suggested that the Duke and Duchess were not happy about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sources close to Prince Harry and Meghan claimed the couple were \u201cstunned\u201d by the decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHarry and Meghan have until early summer to vacate,\u201d a source told Omar Scobie, reporting for Yahoo<\/a>, at the time. \u201cInitially, they were given just weeks, but now they have at least until after the coronation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt all feels very final and like a cruel punishment,\u201d a friend of Harry and Meghan\u2019s added. \u201cIt\u2019s like [the family] wants to cut them out of the picture for good.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Incidently, Prince Harry reportedly rejected King Charles\u2019 invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace while he briefly visited London for an Invictus Games ceremony in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor King Charles, forcing (Prince) Andrew to move to Frogmore solves several problems at once \u2013 it sends a message to Harry that, as a private citizen and no longer a working royal, he will never be allowed back to Frogmore,\u201d he told the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quinn added: \u201cIt sends [a] message to Andrew that having disgraced himself, he can no longer expect to live in the grand style. And, finally, it means that a suitably grand residence can be made ready for the royals who really matter \u2013 William and Kate. Charles is determined that Royal Lodge is the only residence on the royal estate at Windsor that is big enough and regal enough for his heir.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Little is known about Harry\u2019s friendships in the US. Sure, he plays polo with some pals occasionally, but other than that, the finer details of who he spends his time with when he\u2019s not with his family remain unclear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Tom Quinn, Harry misses his army and college friends dearly. Sadly, they haven\u2019t visited him in California because \u201cthey don\u2019t get on with Meghan.\u201d As a result, it\u2019s been reported that the Duke is now looking for a \u201cpermanent\u201d home in the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs time goes by, Harry misses some aspects of his old life in the UK. Inevitably, the honeymoon period where everything in the States is new and exciting is coming to an end and Harry is looking back at the past through rose-tinted spectacles,\u201d Quinn\u00a0claimed<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added: \u201cHe misses his Old Etonian and army friends, many of whom have not visited as they don\u2019t get on with Meghan. Harry is determined to find his own permanent home in the UK, which is partly why he\u2019s continuing his legal action to get the British taxpayer to pay for his security.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
