{"id":7588,"date":"2024-08-12T13:19:53","date_gmt":"2024-08-12T13:19:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kohajone.press\/?p=7588"},"modified":"2024-08-12T13:19:54","modified_gmt":"2024-08-12T13:19:54","slug":"celine-dion-issues-brutal-warning-to-donald-trump-after-he-used-her-song-in-a-rally","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kohajone.press\/?p=7588","title":{"rendered":"Celine Dion issues brutal warning to Donald Trump after he used her song in a rally"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Donald Trump used a Celine Dion classic during a recent presidential rally, and the singer had some harsh words for him<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Celine Dion has issued a stern warning to Donald Trump and his team after they used one of her songs during a rally.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the 2024 election now in full swing, both Trump and Kamala Harris are conducting rallies across the\u00a0US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trump\u00a0is known for having a\u00a0song\u00a0blasting out as he takes to the stage and it\u2019s not exactly uncommon for the former president to have a little dance to the tunes too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The list of musicians Donald Trump has upset by using their songs without permission at his rallies includes (deep breath)\u00a0Adele, Bruce Springsteen, Sir Elton John, Pharrell Williams, Phil Collins and Village People.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And now Dion has spoken out against the former President too after the use of one of her songs at his rallies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.ladbible.com\/resize?type=webp&amp;quality=70&amp;width=3840&amp;fit=contain&amp;gravity=auto&amp;url=https:\/\/images.ladbiblegroup.com\/v3\/assets\/blt949ea8e16e463049\/blt053865eb34284976\/66b8cec1d5710ebb0680fce2\/GettyImages-2165592742.jpg\" alt=\"Donald Trump used 'My Heart Will Go On' during a recent rally. (Michael Ciaglo\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During a presidential campaign rally in Montana, Trump decided to use Dion\u2019s classic \u2018My Heart Will Go On\u2019, playing a video of the singer performing the classic tune to the crowd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the&nbsp;<em>Titanic<\/em>&nbsp;hit was seemingly played without Dion\u2019s permission and her team has now urged Trump to think twice about using the track again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A statement posted on behalf of Dion and her record label read: \u201cToday, Celine Dion\u2019s management team and her record label, Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc, became aware of the unauthorised usage of the video, recording, musical performance, and likeness of Celine Dion singing \u2018My Heart Will Go On\u2019 at a Donald Trump \/ JD Vance campaign rally in Montana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIn no way is this use authorised, and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026 And really, THAT song?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amid her ongoing struggles with\u00a0stiff person syndrome (SPS), Dion made her return to the stage with an incredible performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 56-year-old performed a beautiful rendition of Edith Piaf\u2019s \u2018L\u2019Hymne A L\u2019Amour\u2019 from the Eiffel Tower to conclude the Opening Ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One US publication claimed Dion would receive a whopping $2 million for performing just one song at the opening of the games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.ladbible.com\/resize?type=webp&amp;quality=70&amp;width=3840&amp;fit=contain&amp;gravity=auto&amp;url=https:\/\/images.ladbiblegroup.com\/v3\/assets\/blt949ea8e16e463049\/bltda189bfecc96caa9\/66b8cfa2ac402cafeea0536c\/GettyImages-2162967063.jpg\" alt=\"Celine Dion performed at the Opening Ceremony.
