(Twitter\/GloboNews)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amid the tragedy, the mother of one of the plane\u2019s passengers shared text messages she received from her daughter during the flight to Brazilian network TV Globo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a message shared by her mother Rosemeire Xavier, 23-year-old Rosana Xavier wrote at 11.47am: \u201cMan, two hours of flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019re going to arrive in the rain. I am so scared of this flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI swear, the plane is old.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A minute later she wrote: \u201cThere is a broken seat. I swear. (TV Globo)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She then took a selfie where she looked poker-faced and shared it with her family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rosana\u2019s mother went on to share that she asked her daughter to read a Bible verse to calm down, but she also was starting to get worried after the text messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She then recalled the moment she heard about the crash on the news saying: \u201cI was in despair. (TV Globo)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A day after the crash, first responders were able to recover the bodies of all 34 male passengers and all 28 female passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of Monday (August 12), only 17 victims have been identified, including the pilot Danilo Romano and co-pilot Humberto de Silva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an initial statement shared by the airline on Friday, they\u00a0wrote: \u201cThe aircraft took off from Cascavel-PR bound for Guarulhos Airport, with 58 passengers and four crew members on board. VOEPASS has taken all measures to support those involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThere is still no confirmation of how the accident occurred or the current situation of the people on board.
