Tesla CEO and X head honcho Elon Musk has made the decision to work hard to elect former President Donald Trump in a variety of ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the most recent example of his efforts his Super-PAC is spending millions to collect voter data in crucial swing states, Mediaite reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAmerica PAC, which Musk co-founded, had kept a relatively low profile until recent media reports highlighted the unique efforts of the group and its big-name backers. In a July interview with Jordan Peterson, Musk discussed the PAC, which has spent more than $20 million since June, according to FEC filings. Investors beyond Musk include Cameron Winklevoss and Tyler Winklevoss, Joe Lonsdale, and Doug Leone,\u201d the report said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne ad the PAC had been using to encourage people to register to vote is the video of the attempted assassination of Trump on July 13. The ad includes someone sending the video to a friend and telling them they need to register to vote, and the friend who received the video is then told how to register, according to a breakdown from CNBC<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe ad promotes the America PAC website<\/a>, but registration results have been different depending on the state,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But for users who enter a ZIP code that indicates they live in a battleground state, like Pennsylvania or Georgia, the process is very different.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rather than be directed to their state\u2019s voter registration page, they instead are directed to a highly detailed personal information form, prompted to enter their address, cellphone number and age.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If they agree to submit all that, the system still does not steer them to a voter registration page. Instead, it shows them a \u201cthank you\u201d page.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So that person who wanted help registering to vote? In the end, they got no help at all registering. But they did hand over priceless personal data to a political operation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The website said this week that not all people who have entered their information completed the forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was brought to our attention on August 2 that some people may have been unable to complete the registration process on this website on August 1 and 2. If you had any difficulty, please try to complete the registration process again or email info@theamericapac.org for assistance,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Musk wasted no time roasting Vice President Kamala Harris after President Joe Biden endorsed her following his decision to end his re-election campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President,\u201d Biden wrote in a letter posted<\/a> to social media and elsewhere online last week. \u201cAnd while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not long afterward, he endorsed Harris. \u201cMy very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President,\u201d the president said. \u201cAnd it\u2019s been the best decision I\u2019ve made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cToday I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats \u2014 it\u2019s time to come together and beat Trump. Let\u2019s do this,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
