{"id":9140,"date":"2024-11-12T14:52:47","date_gmt":"2024-11-12T14:52:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kohajone.press\/?p=9140"},"modified":"2024-11-12T14:52:49","modified_gmt":"2024-11-12T14:52:49","slug":"trump-lays-out-plan-to-reduce-size-of-deep-state","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kohajone.press\/?p=9140","title":{"rendered":"Trump Lays Out Plan To Reduce Size of \u2018Deep State\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/conservativebrief.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/trump3.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;During his 2016 campaign, then-GOP nominee Donald Trump ran on a platform of \u201cdraining the swamp,\u201d a catch-all term for dramatically reducing the size of the entrenched federal bureaucracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He made the same appeal in 2020, pleading with voters to give him another term so he could continue reducing the size of the bloated federal workforce, but Joe Biden defeated him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, four years later and with the experience of a complete term under his belt, Trump not only made a similar pledge during his successful 2024 campaign, but now that he\u2019s won with a clear mandate, he is preparing to put in place a plan that will cut into the so-called \u201cdeep state.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March 2023, Trump&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.donaldjtrump.com\/agenda47\/agenda47-president-trumps-plan-to-dismantle-the-deep-state-and-return-power-to-the-american-people\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">announced<\/a>&nbsp;his intention to relocate federal jobs outside of Washington, D.C., as part of a broader commitment to dismantling federal bureaucracy. \u201cContinue Trump administration effort to move parts of the federal bureaucracy outside of the Washington Swamp, just like President Trump moved the Bureau of Land Management to Colorado,\u201d his campaign said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cUp to 100,000 government positions could be moved out of Washington,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump has since doubled down on that figure. \u201cAs many as 100,000 government positions can be moved out \u2014 and I mean immediately out \u2014 of Washington to places filled with patriots who love America,\u201d Trump said in a video breaking down his agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WATCH:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MithaEXP\/status\/1854705897710268427\">https:\/\/twitter.com\/MithaEXP\/status\/1854705897710268427<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u00a0Federal News Network\u00a0reported that when Trump moved Bureau of Land Management jobs, over 80 percent of the employees stayed in Washington, D.C., and did not take new positions with BLM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump worked on reducing the federal workforce at the end of his first term as he anticipated being reelected.
