Your skin is often the first place serious health problems quietly appear. A sudden dark spot that looks different from the rest of your skin can be more than just “ageing” or “sun damage”; in some cases, it may be an early sign of melanoma or a hormonal imbalance. Rapidly changing moles demand urgent attention: look for asymmetry, jagged borders, multiple colours, growth, or itching and bleeding. Early action can turn a terrifying possibility into a survivable story.
