Dolly Parton, the legendary country queen, is known for her gorgeous public persona. However, she recently confessed that her love of fashion extends beyond the spotlight and into her life with her 80-year-old husband, Carl Dean.
Parton admitted in a candid interview recorded in 2022, “I like to put on a fancy outfit for Carl.” She clarified her reasoning, saying that while she spends a lot of time in the spotlight, she also believes it’s necessary to maintain her beauty at home.
“I think to myself, ‘The whole world sees me looking all dolled up, so why would I just come home and be a slob?’” Parton revealed.
Parton and Dean’s enduring love has endured the test of time, approaching the astounding milestone of 60 years of marriage. Parton underlined that she puts effort into her looks for her husband’s benefit and her self-esteem.

“He would love me regardless, but I want to present myself in the best light possible,” she said with a smile. When asked if her commitment to her looks is the secret to their long marriage, Parton said, “Well, I believe it certainly helps!” Nobody wants to cuddle with someone who is unkempt.”
The couple has made it a goal to keep the excitement and spark alive in their relationship. Parton reflected, “I suppose keeping things interesting and adding a dash of spice certainly contributes to our enduring love.”

Dolly Parton will debut in rock music with her upcoming album, “Rock Star.” This highly anticipated record features an incredible lineup of renowned genre contributors, demonstrating Parton’s flexibility as an artist.
