What was it like growing up without the internet in the 60s, 70s, and 80s?

Growing up without the internet in the 60s, 70s, and 80s meant a very different lifestyle compared to today. Communication was primarily through landline telephones, letters, and face-to-face interactions. Research involved visiting libraries, using encyclopedias, and consulting printed materials. Entertainment came from television, radio, books, magazines, and outdoor activities. Shopping was done in physical stores, and staying informed relied on newspapers and television news. Overall, life was slower-paced, and social interactions were more personal and direct.
