Danica Patrick admits to believing in major U.S. conspiracy theory

In 1969, the United States became the first country to successfully send humans to the moon.

Although nearly 600 million people watched Neil Armstrong take the first steps on the moon, and science has proven otherwise, some people, still to this day, believe the moon landing was fake.

Recently, Danica Patrick, former professional race car driver, shared a clip of Bart Sibrel on the Joe Rogan Podcast explaining why he believes the moon landing was a fake.

“If you really went to the moon and spent $200 billion you would never destroy the technology,” he said. “But one of the clips we have is them saying that they intentionally destroyed all of the equipment to go to the moon. All the diagrams, all the hardware, all the schematics, all the original telemetry of where the rocket was at the time, and all the original videotapes.”

Patrick, 42, captioned the clip, “This is def one of the conspiracy’s I believe. I don’t care if you think I’m crazy. I already know I am.”

Over the years, science has disproved countless conspiracy theories surrounding the moon landing, yet there are still plenty of people who believe images taken from the surface of the moon are fake and the astronauts couldn’t have possibly survived the high radiation fields that surround Earth.

And it looks like for whatever reason Danica Patrick is one of those people.
