My Daughter’s Landlord Set Her up So He Could Evict Her and Raise the Rent – We Taught Him a Smart Lesson

Jason’s phone rang in the middle of the night, waking him up groggily. It was his daughter, Lily, sobbing. “Dad, my landlord found out about my raise and started harassing me about renovations and higher rent,” she explained.

The situation worsened when the landlord planted prohibited chemical containers in her backyard and accused Lily of violating the lease. “That’s illegal!” Jason exclaimed. The landlord gave her only two days to move out.

Determined to teach the landlord a lesson, Jason arrived at Lily’s place with friends. They dismantled her lovingly maintained garden, transforming it into a barren patch of dirt. “We’re going to teach Jack a lesson,” Jason assured his daughter.

When the landlord saw the stripped-down property, he was furious. “Where are the plants? The pictures online clearly show what this place is supposed to look like!” he yelled. Jason calmly pointed out, “You want to talk about damage? Let’s discuss the cracks in the walls, the missing tiles, and the mold in the bathroom.”

Lily eventually found a new place with a landlord who appreciated her green thumb. “I can’t thank you enough, Dad,” she said, relieved. “You knew exactly what to do.” Jason replied, “You did the hard part, kiddo. You stood up to him. And now, you’ve got a fresh start.”
