Former President Donald Trump showed up to Saturday’s match-up against two top-ranked college football teams and was immediately met with supportive chants and screaming from throngs of adoring fans.

Many in the crowd of tens of thousands who attended the Georgia-Alabama game in Tuscaloosa, Ala., shouted “USA! USA!” and “4 More Years!” as Trump was spotted in one of the skyboxes as the game between two of college football’s top four programs got underway.

When Trump arrived at Bryant-Denny Stadium, dozens of fans gathered in the concourse to welcome him. He handed out merchandise to the crowd, and many supporters began chanting as he entered the stadium. The former president, who is leading Vice President Kamala Harris is many polls, including in several of the all-important swing states (which includes Georgia), also received an ovation when he was shown on the giant jumbotron before the game began.

Last year, he attended a game between Iowa and Iowa State and another between Clemson and South Carolina. He attended an Alabama game in 2019, too, Fox News noted.

In light of recent assassination attempts on the former president, including one at his own golf course, Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe was asked whether events attracting tens or even hundreds of thousands of people, such as Saturday’s game at Bryant-Denny Stadium—which holds over 100,000 attendees—are particularly concerning.

Rowe responded by assuring that his teams “know what they have to do to make a secure environment for our protectees.”

Harris, who doesn’t do public appearances at events like college football games and MMA matches like Trump does, instead reportedly arranged for a banner trolling Trump during the game.

A plane with the message “Trump’s Punting on 2nd Debate” flew over the stadium during the primetime matchup, The Washington Post reported Saturday. After a blowout start, Alabama (No. 4) only narrowly defeated Georgia (No. 2) 41-34.

Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, attended the Minnesota Golden Gophers’ game against No. 12 Michigan Saturday afternoon. But videos posted online showed fans booing him and his running mate, Harris.

Meanwhile, Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Patrick Lechleitner dropped a bombshell report on President Joe Biden and Democrat presidential nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris this week.

On Friday, the same day that the vice president visited the border in what was only her second trip since Biden placed her in charge of dealing with the illegal migrant crisis shortly after the two took office, the director, who was appointed by Biden, revealed shocking information on the number of convicted murderers and sexual assaulters who have been released into the United States.

In a letter to Texas Republican Rep. Tony Gonzales, the director said that a staggering 662,566 noncitizens with criminal histories, either convicted or with charges pending, have been caught and released into the United States on ICE’s national docket.

Of those criminals and potential criminals, a whopping 13,099 have been convicted of homicide.

Even worse is that most of them are part of ICE’s “non-detained docket,” which means they are living among the U.S. population as they await citizenship hearings, which most often take years.

“As of July 21, 2024, there were 662,566 noncitizens with criminal histories on ICE’s national docket—13,099 criminally convicted MURDERS! Americans deserve to be SAFE in our own communities,” the representative said on X, formerly Twitter.
