John Cena pays for Vietnam veteran’s groceries, snaps a selfie: He is the ultimate good man

A recent generous act from The Cenation Leader that came to light on Reddit provides additional evidence that John Cena genuinely exemplifies respect, one of his three core principles.

A photo of an uncle smiling with John Cena—a 16-time World Champion—was recently uploaded on Reddit. The uncle was wearing a U.S. Navy SeaBees cap. Cena allegedly bought the man’s groceries out of the goodness of his heart.

Charles “Bud” Phillips, a Vietnam veteran, was the lucky beneficiary of Cena’s kindness, according to new details revealed by ETonline.com. After quietly paying for Phillips’ goods, Cena took note of his hat and thanked him for his service.

John covertly covered all of his grocery bills, according to Phillips’s daughter. The cashier informed my dad, “John paid for your groceries,” but he had no idea until he was checking out.

Again, John Cena shows the WWE Universe that being unselfish is appropriate at any moment.
